A simple way to stay connected with your family

Your family may have set up DWEL to help stay in touch. It’s a simple way to check in and make sure everything is going well without imposing burden on your caregiver who is struggling to balance work and support.

You only need your phone.

How Voice Check-ins Work

From time to time, you will receive a phone call from DWEL.

When you answer, you will hear a friendly voice. For example:

What a voice check-in looks like — friendly, conversational, and takes less than a minute

You can answer naturally. Just speak the way you normally would.

There are no buttons. No menus. No instructions to follow. Just a conversation.

Voice Check-in

Hear a typical check-in call

This is what a typical voice check-in call sounds like. It’s simple and conversational.

If you miss a call

If you don’t answer, that’s okay. DWEL will try calling again.

If there’s still no answer after a few tries:

  • Your family will be notified
  • They may check in another way

This helps make sure everything is okay.

If you ever need something

You can also call DWEL yourself. You can ask for help with things like:

  • Getting a ride
  • Ordering groceries
  • Everyday needs

Just speak naturally, and your request will be handled.

Coming Soon

We’re always working to make your life easier. Over time, we’ll be adding other convenient services for you as well — so you can get more help with everyday needs, all through a simple phone call.

How to call DWEL for a ride.

Book a Ride

DWEL already knows your details

The credit card, vehicle type, special instructions, and common locations will be pre-setup by your caregiver(s).

What your family sees after you talk to DWEL

Once you talk to DWEL, your Circle of Care will get a simple update, like:

  • "Everything looks good today"
  • "He just got home from his appointment."
  • "He is almost out of medication."

It helps them feel more relaxed, knowing you’re okay — without needing to check in as often.

Your privacy and security

Your comfort and privacy are very important. DWEL is designed to be respectful and simple.

  • No cameras
  • No tracking devices
  • No complicated technology
  • No need to share anything you’re not comfortable sharing

Your conversations are used only to understand how you’re doing and to keep your family informed.
