Accessibility at DWEL
DWEL is committed to delivering an experience that is accessible, usable, and inclusive for people with a wide range of abilities. Accessibility is core to how we design and build our platform.
Standards and approach
We design and evaluate our website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
Our accessibility practices include:
- Semantic, structured content to support screen readers
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states
- Sufficient color contrast for readability
- Consistent layouts and predictable interactions
- Responsive design across devices and screen sizes
Accessibility reviews are conducted using a combination of manual testing and automated tools, informed by VPAT 2.4 methodology.
Current status
Our most recent audit (April 23, 2026) determined that the DWEL marketing website Supports WCAG 2.2 Level AA on the basis of automated and structural checks. The axe-core baseline reports zero violations across every public route at desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports and across the documented interaction states. A separate Chromium accessibility-tree audit reports zero blocker, serious, moderate, or minor findings across all 28 cells (16 routes plus documented interaction states), verifying landmarks, heading order, accessible names, link quality, and live regions on every route. Manual keyboard, contrast, and reduced-motion checks all pass. A manual screen-reader pass on NVDA + Chrome and VoiceOver + Safari is documented as a published test plan and is pending execution by an operator on the relevant operating systems; until that pass is complete, the conformance report does not claim manual screen-reader verification.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we expand DWEL, we continuously test, refine, and improve the experience to better support all users.

Conformance report (VPAT 2.4)
A detailed Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT 2.4 Rev, WCAG Edition) is published for this site. It documents the routes, viewports, and interaction states evaluated, the per-criterion conformance against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA, and the third-party scope carve-outs.
