Privacy Notice

This notice explains how DWEL collects, uses and shares information through dwel.digital and the DWEL service-related text messaging program.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact DWEL, we may collect information such as your name, business email address, organization, role, telephone number and the information included in your request or message.

A telephone number collected for contact, business-development or pilot-inquiry purposes through the public website will not be treated as consent to receive recurring text messages.

Providing a telephone number through the public website, receiving an invitation, creating an account or being named in a Circle of Care does not enroll you in text messages. In the authenticated DWEL service, a caregiver who enters a mobile number in their profile consents to receive the service-related text messages described in the DWEL SMS Terms. A family-selected telephone number for a care recipient may be used for service-related voice calls, whether it is a landline or mobile number, and is not treated as caregiver SMS consent.

Please do not send medical records, financial account information or Social Security numbers through the public website or its contact form. Do not use the website or its forms to request emergency assistance.

Website and device information

With your permission, DWEL uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use the public website. These services may collect pages visited, referring sources, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an internet address, cookie identifiers and interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Microsoft Clarity may create recordings of these website interactions. Contact-form fields are configured to be masked from Clarity recordings.

Optional analytics do not load unless you allow them. You can revisit your preference at any time by selecting the Privacy choices control displayed on the website.

Mobile and messaging information

If a caregiver enters a mobile number in their authenticated DWEL profile, DWEL may collect that number, consent and opt-out records, delivery information, the content of outbound messages and any replies supported by the program.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and discuss potential business relationships or pilot programs.
• Place service-related voice calls or send email using the contact paths selected for the DWEL service.
• Send non-promotional, service-related text messages to caregivers who consent by entering a mobile number in their authenticated DWEL profile.
• Maintain messaging preferences and SMS consent and opt-out records.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and services.
• Measure website traffic and engagement when analytics permission is granted.
• Comply with applicable legal requirements and protect DWEL, its users and others.

Mobile and SMS privacy

DWEL does not sell mobile telephone numbers or use text-message opt-in information for targeted advertising.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers acting on DWEL's behalf, including AWS messaging services, may process mobile numbers and message information only to deliver and support the program, maintain security and comply with law.

How we share information

DWEL may share information with service providers that host the website, process form submissions, provide analytics, deliver communications, support security or maintain DWEL technology. Current public-website providers include Netlify, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. AWS messaging services may support the DWEL text messaging program.

DWEL may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a corporate transaction. DWEL does not sell personal information or use its current public-website analytics configuration for advertising based on a visitor's activity across other websites.

Data retention

DWEL retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including providing requested services, maintaining consent and opt-out records where applicable, meeting legal obligations and protecting the website and services. Retention periods may vary by data type and program.

Security

DWEL uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No website, telecommunications network or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's privacy

The public website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 18.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including access, correction or deletion. DWEL may need to verify your identity before completing a request. A caregiver may turn off an optional text-notification selection where that control is available. To stop all text messages, remove the mobile number from the caregiver profile or email customer-support@dwel.digital for assistance. Automated STOP and HELP processing is not currently supported and should not be represented as available until it is implemented and tested.

Changes to this notice

DWEL may update this notice as its website, messaging program, services and legal obligations evolve. The date above identifies the current version.
