Privacy Notice
How DWEL handles information collected through this marketing website.
Last updated: April 23, 2026
1. About this notice
This Privacy Notice explains how DWEL, Inc. ("DWEL," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our public marketing website at dwel.digital. The DWEL caregiving application is a separate, login-protected product; its in-product privacy disclosures are presented to users at sign-in and are not covered by this notice. If a section below does not apply to your visit (for example, you never submit a form), we do not collect that information from you.
2. Information we collect
Information you submit through our contact form
- First and last name, work email address, company (optional), and the message you write in the form on our Contact page.
- We use this information to reply to your inquiry and route it to the right person on our team.
Information you submit through our demo request form
- First and last name, work email address, company, role, company size, and any message you include on our Request a Demo page.
- Submitting the form opens an email in your default email client addressed to our team. The submission is also recorded as an analytics event so we can measure how many demo requests our site generates.
- We use this information to schedule a demo, qualify the opportunity, and follow up by email or phone.
Information collected automatically from your device
- Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device type, browser, operating system, referring URL, and the pages you view.
- Engagement data such as clicks, scrolls, time on page, and (where consented) anonymized session replays via Microsoft Clarity used to debug usability issues.
- UTM and referrer parameters appended to inbound links so we can attribute traffic to specific marketing channels.
Information from third-party embedded content
- Our How It Works page embeds a YouTube video. When the embed loads, YouTube and Google may set cookies and collect data under their own policies; we do not control that data collection.
- Outbound links to our LinkedIn and YouTube channels take you to those services, which collect data under their own privacy policies.
- We do not knowingly collect health information, payment information, or sensitive personal information through this website.
3. How we use this information
- Respond to contact and demo requests and follow up by email or phone.
- Measure website traffic, sources, and conversion to understand which content and channels work.
- Identify business accounts visiting our site so our team can prioritize outreach to relevant employers, brokers, and partners.
- Diagnose bugs, test changes, and improve site performance, accessibility, and content.
- Run remarketing and lookalike advertising on platforms such as LinkedIn so our content reaches similar audiences.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents on the website.
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce these and our other policies.
4. When we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers: Vendors who run parts of the website on our behalf (hosting, email, CRM, analytics, advertising platforms — see Section 8). Each is bound by contract to use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
- Corporate transactions: If DWEL is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information described here may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. How we protect information
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including TLS in transit and access controls on our internal systems. No website or internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. How long we keep information
We keep contact and demo form submissions in our CRM for as long as we have an active business relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and otherwise no longer than is needed to respond and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics and advertising vendors retain data on their own published schedules; you can find those schedules in each vendor's privacy policy. You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you at any time using the contact details in Section 11.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct-marketing tracking.
- Receive a copy of the personal information you provided in a portable format.
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave (for example, by changing your choices in our Cookiebot banner).
To make a request, email us at info@dwel.digital.
8. Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies
We use Cookiebot to ask for your consent to optional cookies and similar technologies on this website, and to record and respect your choices. The categories you can accept or decline are: Statistics — Google Analytics 4 (traffic and event reporting) and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay used to improve the site); and Marketing — the LinkedIn Insight Tag (campaign measurement and remarketing), HubSpot tracking (linking your visit to our CRM if you fill out a form), and RB2B (which, for visitors in the United States, attempts to identify the company and the individual associated with a visit so our team can follow up). We may load these tools immediately for visitors in regions that do not legally require a consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time by reopening the Cookiebot banner from any page footer. Browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control are also honored where applicable.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not direct it to children and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, post a notice on this page. Your continued use of the website after the effective date means you accept the updated notice.
